Director of Sales and Events

John F. Schadl is a seasoned sales director with over 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 14 years in leadership roles with Ray’s Restaurants. During his tenure, John has excelled as an operations partner, training and HR director, and sales and events director. His expertise spans restaurant sales, events, operations, and talent development, making him a versatile and respected leader in the field.

John started his professional career with the McDonald's corporation and was instrumental in developing the European market, where he resided for many years. There, he held various roles as a Training and Operations Consultant as well as Regional Director.

John’s deep understanding of hospitality operations, combined with his energy and passion for people development, has enabled him to build and mentor high-performing teams, foster a culture of excellence, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. He is passionate about traveling, learning new cultures, and speaks several languages, which allows him to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. John thrives on trying new things and breaking away from the status quo, ensuring continuous growth and innovation in his personal and professional life.

Outside of professional ventures, he is an avid gardener and design consultant and loves creating beautiful spaces.
