President
Dan developed a deep curiosity for the hospitality industry while working in finance in NYC. With access to some of the best restaurants in the world, he spent most of his free time exploring new restaurants, and his curiosity soon developed into a true passion. In 2019, he quit his job to join his family’s company, TEI, which was mostly a marina business branded as Best in Boating Marinas.
Over the course of the next five years, Dan and his dad acquired The Dock Restaurant (Naples, FL), The Mill Wharf (Scituate, MA), and Ray’s Restaurants (Atlanta, GA) and combined them with Best in Boating’s existing restaurants to form a new division under TEI now branded as TEI Hospitality. Today, Dan serves as the company’s president, where he is responsible for both TEI Hospitality and Best in Boating’s executive team, the company’s overall strategy, operational performance, vision, and growth.
Dan and his wife are always looking for the next adventure. They enjoy traveling, spending time with family & friends, boating, and trying new restaurants. Having grown up playing several sports, Dan enjoys an active lifestyle and loves skiing, tennis, and golf.
